This short essay is based upon the work of Lynne McTaggert entitled, “The Field”, in particular the chapter entitled “Beings of Light”.  It also is based on Integrated Energy Therapy. Rather than rewriting what Lynne McTaggert has already so eloquently explained and what Stephan J. Thayer, the father of Integrated Energy Therapy has provided, I would like to suggest that you read Lynne McTaggert’s book, or at least that chapter and also visit the IET website at…  Integrated Energy Therapy.

This is not an attempt at a scientific treatise or paper.  It is anecdotal and theorizes based on my own personal observations and musings.  Still, based on my own observations as an IET student and an armchair or psuedo physicist, I think it presents a very interesting theory based on science and metaphysics.  I will briefly outline my thoughts here and at some future date try to get back to it to expand upon them.  For now, here is my idea…

In IET there is a method used for the transfer of energy known as a “heartlink”.  The heartlink is a communication from the physical or mortal world to the angelic realm via the chakras.  Chakras act as portals of energy.  As stated in other writings on my website I believe that human beings are energetic beings, we are energy.  Humans may also channel energy to other humans from the angelic realm via the heartlink.  In IET the purpose of the heartlink is healing.  It is described as a shaft of light or an energy beam.  The symbol for the heartlink is a lightening bolt with a bright light at the end of it. 

When I took my first IET class I had no knowledge of what IET was other than some kind of energy therapy.  I hadn’t heard of the heartlink or beams of light or energy that were channeled through the body from angels.  Our instructor, Linda Smith, asked us to close our eyes and to observe whatever we might see.  I saw a small lightening bolt dancing as if charged with energy just above my crown chakra and at the tip of the lightening bolt was an incredibly bright point of light.  When I told her about it she smiled and said, “You’ll know what that means in a while and how important the lightening bolt is.”

So without any suggestion from Linda or any other outside source I had been shown a heartlink symbol and how it enters the body.  Call it ESP or Divine Intuition or guidance from an angel, whatever you will, it is interesting that the symbol was shown to me in preparation for my initiation in IET. I like the idea of Divine Intuition.  I think it is something we all can use if we are willing to accept it.

So light from an angelic source enters the body through the crown chakra and also is sent back through the crown chakra to the angels.  It is described as an exchange of healing love.  First we send love to the angels and call upon them for help.  They answer by sending many times as much love back to us as we have sent.  We in turn, as therapists, may send this love and energy to another person via our heartlink from our heart chakra to their’s.

There is much more to a healing session than just the heartlink and I can say from personal experience that an IET session is therapeutic.  Once again, this is just anecdotal, my opinion based on my experience as a student and also as a recipient of several sessions.

So what evidence do we have that heartlinks exist and if they do exist what proof do we have that an energy beam in the form of light has healing powers?

To answer these questions, I refer you, once again, to the chapter, “Beings of Light”.  Ms. McTaggert does a very good job of describing how physicists have proven that there is light within the body and that human bodies also emit light in the form of biophoton emissions.  Photons, you will recall, are tiny bundles of energy in the form of light.  They may appear from out of nowhere as “virtual particles”.  It is my opinion that these virtual particles are actually from the unseen dimension or domain called “R Space” by William Tiller. It is the magnetoelectric equivalent of our own electromagnetic dimension/domain.  It is where the Ketheric Template for the human body exists, the place where our thoughts have creative ability to act upon the domain of mind and to create virtual particles that then enter our physical domain and change the world around us and sometimes our own bodies.  I also believe that virtual particles may be created there by higher forms of consciousness and may also enter our physical world.

Virtual particles collide with other particles when they enter our physical domain and in so doing exchange information.  They then seem to disappear again or to be completely destroyed.  Once again, this is my opinion, that they do not self destruct but rather are sent back to R Space.  perhaps they absorb information from the photons in our bodies and take that information back into R space and it is given to that higher form of consciousness.  This higher form of consciousness may be considered angelic.

It is possible that these virtual particles are actually the heartlink.  They are made of light and transfer from the unseen to the seen bringing information and changing the particles they interact with.  As I stated in another essay on this site, I believe that R Space is the domain of de Broglie pilot waves that guide particles, photons.  It is the staging area for the creation of the physical world we see working in concert with the etheric template.

It has been proven in physics that light enters the cells of the human body and can transform those cells.  Light is used as a form of communication in cells.  In fact, while light travels through normal human cells unchanged, in cancerous cells the light is absorbed and then emitted at a different frequency.  Persons who have cancer emit fewer photons than healthy people.  As Lynne McTaggert says, “The lines of communication were scrambled.  They had lost their connection with the world.  In effect, their light was going out.”  That certainly is an ominous statement, but the good news is that we can share light and energy so a person who is willing to create a heartlink with a person who has cancer or some other malady can channel perfect light that will heal.

What scientific proof do we have that humans can send energy to each other? It has also been proven that similar species may absorb energy from each other in the form of biophoton emissions.  In other words, a fish may absorb biophotons from another fish of its species. Since we humans emit photons and absorb photons it is a fact that we can exchange energy.  Perhaps these biophtons are what is observed when individuals who have had a mystical experience are said to glow.  We also absorb light from the food we eat.  In one experiment it was demonstrated that eggs from free range chickens emit a light that is far more coherent than light from chickens raised under battery conditions. Coherent light is light that is communicating the same information in a more efficient manner. Coherence is when all the photons work together, each with their own message but working as an organized group, similar to an orchestra.

So to sum it all up, energy in the form of photons, bundles of light, enter and reside within the human body, in the cells in the human body.  Those photons have the ability to communicate and transform cells.  Photons that are emitted as biophoton emissions can be absorbed by living beings.  In IET therapy a heartlink is used to send healing energy to another person in the form of light.  It is my opinion that the healing light of a heartlink is this same energy known as biophoton emissions.

I use heartlinks every day in my healing work that I do for my family, loved ones, and other people who I discover are having problems.  I work quietly, often not discussing this with the person.  I can’t prove that they work or even that they exist, but I would say there is enough evidence in science and plenty of anecdotal reports of healing that lend some credence to my theory.
