Driving and reading maps is confusing enough without the exit numbers being changed. A couple of years ago I was travleing down though Florida and noticed that the exit numbers were all changed. I did not realize for a long time why the numbers had been changed. Do the numbers make traveling easier? No, not really. The only thing I want to know how much farther it is, is the rest area, given all the coffee I drink! Why not just leave the exit numbers alone and just add information to the sign, like how many miles to the next exit and how many miles to New Wazoo or whatever the next state would be.
