Unfortunately for me Bluegrass Cat couldn't hold off the powerful run of Jazil. I get the $92 exacta but miss the tri. It really was such a wide open race it would cost too much to cover all the combos that needed to be covered. So for the Triple Crown this year I completely blew the Derby, had the winner and exacta in the Preakness and the exacta in the Belmont, though to be fair, I covered a lot of bets to do it. Overall, that is how I do best in the races, with winners and exactas. Trifectas just seem to be too much for me. Well as we old horseplayers say, "There's always fresh." It was a thrill.
