That is what we are doing here. My name is Willie and I have spent many years being married, raising kids, struggling with careers and jobs. I’ve had some interesting careers like hypnotherapist, race track announcer, etc. One of my careers was gambling. But I couldn’t do it very often or as much as I wanted to. But now the kids are grown, the wife has flown and I am ready to hit the road. The phone is ringing off the wall. Business partners and employees. Willie, can we get the software done in time for a June launch? Hey boss the server crashed and we lost everything, you wouldn’t happen to have a copy of that would you? Papa my financial aid forms are due tomorrow and I forgot to fill them out can you help me? Baby I’m lonely and miss you, will you come over tonight (ooops wait a minute, that ones okay). Well anyway, you get the idea.
For the last 34 years I’ve been somebody’s daddy and somebody’s husband and or lover and for a lot of that time I have been somebody’s ex and a single parent. Raising my family was a wonderful adventure but to sum it all up, players, I’m fried like an onion ring and its time to take this show on the road. So fasten your seat belts, players, cause we’re gonna hit every casino and track from here to there and back again. I’ve already gambled from Prince Edward Island Canada to Margharita Island Venezuela but I missed a lot of spots between them.
I play the dogs and ponies and also blackjack. I’m not a stranger to video poker or baccarat, either. My craps education is sorely lacking but fellow players we are going to fix that soon. The only bet I know is pass or don’t pass but that’s a start, hell it answers some of the biggest questions you’ll ever be faced with!
The “Black Mariah”, my 1996 Dodge conversion van, is in the shop getting her innerds spruced up so she’ll be able to howl down the turnpike and take us any where we want to go. She has an electric bed and mood lights right out of the 70’s. With my trusty laptop and cell phone I’ll be writing about my adventures and sharing them with you right here. When I walk into a casino you’ll be right by my side. When I’m cashing tickets at the track, you’ll be in the short line with me. The only thing I ask of you is to leave all the cares and worries behind. Just ain’t no room for that stuff in Old Mariah. And don’t be afraid to leave a comment or ask a question.

No problem, Splodge. But you don’t need a sidecar. If the mood lights make ya nervous and you like fresh air, I’ve got a big roof rack and plenty of bungie cords, ;0)

Got that van ready fer the road yet? Old Mariah, eh? Hopefully you’ll have some exciting tales to lift our spirits here on the homestead.
The old Girl’s still in dry dock though she may be ready today. In the meantime I am working on understanding the big picture or at least getting a glimpse of it. Part of that process is the owner’s manual for Mariah that came in the mail yesterday. What a world! You can find an owner’s manual for a 1996 Dodge Ram Van and have it delivered to your door (for a price that is). Helps to explain those tricky questions like, “When the light is on under the OD off switch, does it mean the overdrive is off or on?”
If only people came with an owner’s manual. Maybe that is the meaning of life, we’re all here as a group to write an owner’s manual for the human species. I imagine the troubleshooting section will be huge. I’ll keep you posted.
Willie, what the hell has Heart Links got to do with gambling anyway? I’ve placed my bet and gambled my heart away and lost at that!!! Any ideas on a ‘new game” for me? I need those cards and chips back so I can play the right game with the “big boys”….
If you are playing with the big boys they are going to have their hands full. Something tells me you’ll soon have plenty of chips. Another game, huh? Well gee, like the song says, the Queen of Hearts is always your best bet. Stick with what you know.
Well, Willie….how’s Florida? I’m awaiting your comments on your ‘venture’. As far as the Queen of Hearts goes, I’m not placing bets on her, I’m playing a new game. The new stage has been set and awaiting the next scene when the curtain goes up. What’s my game? Survival. I’ve thrown all my chips and cards in the air, will let them fall where they may. I got my long nails back on today and pulled out my sleek black spandex dress that goes to my feet, with a slit up the front right side of my leg, with spaghetti straps and open back down too my butt. Got my high heels with rhinestones out and all the fancy jewelry and other ‘attire’ for this game. Heading out of state for two days. Got something to bet on. I have my heartlink set, my chakras are full and energized, I have a heart beam loaded and ready. I am focused on one goal. Do you know this game? I may be facing what I fear the most. But, I will win! Through the development of Spiritual receptivity, the seeker becomes more aware of changes taking place within. I am confident, will be efficient and have a greater capacity for joy and success. I have a keener desire and a greater capacity for a challenge. The development of these faculties breaks down the entire structure of fear, worry, the entire structure of that which we think we need objectively to satisfy and places in a position of seeing clearly, of hearing clearly, definitely know ourselves to be in touch with our spiritual selves. I have “Begun to Arrive.”
How’s it going out there Willie? Hopefully you’ll be driving out of the rain and into the sunshine. Had two days of clouds and sun here but we’re back again to the rain. Oh well.
As you travel, you’ll have to keep us informed about gas prices. I saw it for $3.11 at some local stations, but found one at $2.93, such a deal! I remember a time when I could fill and empty tank in my 68 Volvo with premium for $4.50! Those days are sure gone forever…and so is my Volvo.

Keep doing so until you feel that you have drawn it close enough to you and are surrounded by their/its energy field and are intermingled into your energy field. Unison!
Sit for a few minutes…and embrace what is now in your sights. This will enact your soul’s mission. Don’t forget to ground yourself or you will be walking sideways!
Lastly, another of my favorites, is HeartBeams. Anyone passing through the HeartBeams you have created will experience a blessing from the alignment of his or her energy field. Each person who passes through this HeartBeam enters into a heartwave. This provides an increased state of well-being, self-clearing, that person’s soul purpose. It also builds up energy and makes the heartbeam stronger!!

I want to gamble more, too but things keep needing to be done. Always seem to have a list of things to do, like today. One cure for that is to hit the road and stay our there. Nex week I’ll be writing about the blackjack tables in NH and the dog races.
